PDF REQUIREMENTS
When saving PDF files, all fonts and images must be embedded in the files. Make sure PDF files are high resolution (Print Quality) and contain 1/8" bleed if your image extends beyond the trim.

CONVERT TEXT TO OUTLINE
All text within your files must be converted to outlines with the outline set to zero to eliminate the need for fonts. If you are using Illustrator, select all type and convert to outlines. If you are using Photoshop, make sure all layers are flattened.

FONTS
Be careful when using small colored text. Minute misalignment on the press can cause CMYK inks to not align perfectly in small text (10 pt. or smaller) or in white text on a colored or black background. This misalignment can make small text look blurry. If you need to use small colored text it is best to use true CMYK colors. Colored text larger than 10 pt. will print clear and sharp. 100% black is the preferred choice for small text and rules. We accept Open Type and MAC True Type Fonts. (Please be sure to use and include MAC compatible fonts.) To upload fonts, you must submit them in a compressed file using WinZip or Stuffit. If submitting the file using fonts in Illustrator of Photoshop please convert text to outline, paths or curves.

ACCEPTED SUBMISSION METHODS
COMPUTER FILES: Completed files and artwork must be either uploaded or submittedon a CDor DVD to Kellypre Press with a laser proof.

RESOLUTION AND PRINTING
Your artwork must be created at 300 dpi or larger. If your artwork is at a lower resolution, the print quality may be affected.

DIMENSIONS
Full bleed is required on all artwork. Full bleed is 1/8 inch larger than the cut size on all sides of the artwork. See layout requirements for exact dimensions.

COLOR ACCURACY
It is impossible to guarantee 100% color accuracy. You can minimize color issues by ensuring your artwork is created and submitted in CMYK.

**Note** RGB images and Pantone Colors will be converted to CMYK. Colors may shift in this process. We are not responsible for color changes when converting to CMYK.

LARGE AREAS OF BLACK
When using large areas of solid black 100% black will not create a saturated black. Instead a rich black must be used. To create a rich black use the following CMYK values: 50% Cyan, 40% Magenta, 40% Yellow and 100% Black. Small text and rules should be left at 100% Black.

IMAGE RESOLUTION
Images used should be 300 dpi or larger at the final size. Avoid using images from the internet or websites. These are usually GIF, JPEG, or PNG file formats at low dpi. Color and resolution have been removed from these images causing them to appear fuzzy and dull if used for print.

SUBMITTING ACTUAL FILES
When sending actual files and not a PDF make sure your files are linked, not embedded, and that you send all your layout, images and font files (both screen and printer fonts) to us. Make sure all of the above files are compressed with WINzip or StuffIt before uploading.

Shipping is via DHL Ground. You will receive a tracking number via email to monitor the shipping progress once your order has left our plant. Please keep this number to track the shipping progress of your order.

IF YOU WAIVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO RECEIVE A HARD COPY PRESS PROOF YOU WILL WAIVE ANY AND ALL RIGHTS FOR FINAL QUALITY CHECKS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING, FONT DEFAULTS, COPY ACCURACY, COLOR SHIFTS, TRIM SIZE, BLEEDS AND ANY OTHER QUALITY ISSUES THAT MAY BE UNDESIRABLE.
